Importance of food combining (part 2)

In short, the table below shows the ideal scenarios, these are the food combination that go best together:

Melons Family Acidic Fruits Sweet Fruits
  • highest concentration of water
  • digest very fast (within 30mins)
  • not recommended to mix with other food (easily ferment)
  • citrus family like orange, lemon, pineapple
  • taste sour
  • the effect of metabolism is alkaline
  • high in calcium, iron & various minerals
  • e.g. papaya, apples
  • not recommend to mix with acidic fruits:
    acid + alkaline (from mouth) = neutralized.
